Posts with low SEO Scores

    I have a technical site for IFRS (international financial reporting standards). Posts and the likes are narratives on IFRS subjects etc, but I also list all the IFRS Standards, as a sort of encyclopedia/framework with a lot of links from the narratives to the IFRS standards through anchors. For the custom pages used for the IFRS Standards I purposely see to it that they get a low SEO score (50 – 75) because they are not the focus for visitors to look at.

    Does this result into a overall lower SEO score at google, or could you include an option in Rank Math that tells google that ceratin pages are not really in use to be searched through google>

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    Search engines will reward you for linking to internal and external pages on your posts and thus it would not really be beneficial to noindex the IFRS Standards posts since they are helping the pillar content on your site.

    Please note that the Rank Math SEO scores are only for reference and do not affect the optimization of your posts. As long as the IFRS Standards posts do not have duplicate content on the main post then these should not dilute your page rank.

    But that is just the problem, they duplicate, in the IFRS industry there are a limited number of key words.

    Please note this is just a food for thought to think of improving Rank Math

    If you do not wish for certain posts to be indexed or be ranking in Google – you can mark them as noindex:
    null

    Hi All,

    Is there a way to change the Robots Meta Index to No index in bulk. It would be great if such boxes could be added to the screen options in an All pages view.

    Hi Henk,

    You can enable or disable for posts/pages/archives/CPTs
    WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > …

    But, we do not have an option to do it for multiple items at a time. Sorry.
