I use BuddyPress and a plugin called BuddyBlog by BuddyDev that allows members to create blog posts. The page title that appears for all blog posts is incorrect. It appears as the following.

Post Title – Posts – Blog – Members Name – Site Name

I would prefer the following format.

    Post Title – Members Name

Can you point me in the correct direction to fix this?

    Thx

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Could you please head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Post Type and see if that post type is listed there?
    Buddyblog

If so, please check if you can set the default title structure for single post types for that blog posts.

Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. Please follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-mode/

I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.

Under the Post Types section, Posts does appear.

It doesn’t matter what I change the Single Post Title to, it doesn’t work.

All other SEO Titles work except for the Post Titles, which is the primary reason I installed this plugin. Do you have the ability to log into my site to look at this issue?

    Thx

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Your issue here could be happening due to a possible conflict that is overriding the set post titles from the plugin. We do have the ability to check this for you.

To do so, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

We noticed that you also opened a ticket with the team at BuddyDev about this issue and they said they are looking into a way to add compatibility with Rank Math.

So, I would advise that you wait a couple of days for the team to respond to your query and when they add that compatibility you should be able to correctly see the changes being reflected.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
