I have published 144 posts with Robots Meta set to INDEX. Yet my post .xml sitemap shows 0 urls. Why aren’t they being displayed?

    My sitemap page is; https://thebumpkin.com/post-sitemap.xml

I have saved my wordpress-permalinks (set to post) and it still doesn’t show the url’s. PLEASE HELP!

    Thanks.

  • The only thing I can see is that I’ve set my posts to a main page canonical link as they are duplicated from a main page – if I don’t set the post canonical to another page then the post sitemap shows. Why is this>

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Please note that Rank Math automatically generates the canonical URL for all your pages if they are set to index. The main purpose of adding a custom canonical to your pages (through the Advanced tab) is to let Google know that it is a duplicate page and not to be indexed.

If you also set the canonical manually, your posts/pages will not be included in your sitemap. Here’s a link for more information:

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
