  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue with your website’s search results. It sounds like the permalink structure of your posts or pages might not be optimized for search engines, which could be causing the problem you’re facing.

To ensure that the permalink structure is optimized for search engines, you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Settings → Permalinks.
    2. Select the “Post Name” option to create a unique and spider-friendly URL for each post or page.
    3. Save your changes.

By setting the permalink structure to “Post Name,” your permalinks will look like this: `https://rankmath.com/kb/seo-analysis/ which is more enticing to search engine spiders and also provides an opportunity to include keywords in the URL.

Once you’ve updated the permalink structure, it may take some time for search engines to re-crawl and index your website. However, optimizing the permalink structure should help ensure that the correct post or page is displayed in the search results when clicked.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to ask. We’re here to help!

    Hello,

We tried searching Google using the specific keyword you shared and it is currently showing different results from your screenshot.

If the homepage appears on the first result, this just means that Google thinks that is better optimized than the intended post for the given search keyword.

You would need to improve the optimization of your posts and try to build some backlinks to them to rank higher than the homepage.

Please note that this doesn’t happen overnight and can’t be tackled with a single setting change.

I know keyword research. This is not my issue.

My problem is, when I search on google with any keyword, my website post or page is showing in the search result, but the permalink of the post or page is not showing with the website url in the search result. As a result, when the search result link is clicked, then Instead of redirecting to post or page, it redirects to the homepage of the website.

*That is search result post Permalink is not available.

    Hello,

We did a Google search for the keyword āĻ…āĻ˛āĻ¸āĻ¤āĻž āĻĻā§‚āĻ°ā§€āĻ•āĻ°āĻŖā§‡āĻ° āĻŦā§ˆāĻœā§āĻžāĻžāĻ¨āĻŋāĻ• āĻ‰āĻĒāĻžāĻ¯āĻŧ and we could see your site in the serps as well.

Please refer to the screenshot below :
    https://monosnap.com/direct/idfPMmPupllOBgi3hdq2rhM6H9AuoQ

However upon checking this in details we were able to see that Google is not indexing the post rather the homepage for this keyword.

If you look closely you will understand that this because Google is also able to find this jkeyword on your homepage.

We opened your homepage and search for the exact same keyword on your homepage and we could see that the said keyword is also available on the homepage.

Please refer to the screenshot below :
    https://monosnap.com/direct/UbvQKv9BJel20TuLJGUyj3Altw7VJv

Somehow Google thinks that your homepage is better fit for it’s users rather than the post page itself and hence it is doing this.

Upon further check we clicked on the post with title as rid of laziness | āĻ…āĻ˛āĻ¸āĻ¤āĻž āĻĻā§‚āĻ°ā§€āĻ•āĻ°āĻŖā§‡āĻ° āĻŦā§ˆāĻœā§āĻžāĻžāĻ¨āĻŋāĻ• āĻ‰āĻĒāĻžāĻ¯āĻŧ and we could see that the page is not opening at all.

Please refer to the screenshot below :
    https://monosnap.com/direct/ZIp3byL5eOPPwbsxpvfYkjH6BAtbtC

It is possible that this might be the reason for the page not being shown in the first page.

However we can see that particular post is also indexed in th serps.

Please refer to the screenshot below :

We suggest you to optimize the page https://businessbengali.com/rid-of-laziness-laziness-synonym/ more and improve it’s quality so that it becomes elligible to rank better than the homepage for the keyword āĻ…āĻ˛āĻ¸āĻ¤āĻž āĻĻā§‚āĻ°ā§€āĻ•āĻ°āĻŖā§‡āĻ° āĻŦā§ˆāĻœā§āĻžāĻžāĻ¨āĻŋāĻ• āĻ‰āĻĒāĻžāĻ¯āĻŧ .

We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
