Post OG Image and Featured Image showing as og:image

    I use a post-specfic Facebook image set as well I am using a featured image on my posts. RankMath is showing both as og:image tags. You can see it on this page:

    https://www.cruisingknowitall.com/embarkation-day-bag/

    I do not want the featured image showing as it is not the correct dimensions for FB. It does not do this with the Twitter image.

    How do I stop it from showing the featured image as the og;image when a custom image for FB as been set?

    I’ve checked the page, and the og:image meta tag is already using the image you have set rather than the featured image.

    Could you please clear your website’s cache and check again?

    Hello,

    Rank Math should only generate one og:image tag so the second og:image tag on your website must have been generated by another plugin or your currently active theme. To determine which plugin or theme, please refer to this troubleshooting guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
