    Hi,
updating rank math 1.0.48.2 causes my website to no longer functioning: fatal error.
I have to deactivate this plugin via ftp in order to enter my wordpress dashboard and recover my website from my backup.
What to do? I would be happy if you could fix this terrible bug.

    sincerely
    Gerd Pickshaus

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you please share a copy of your PHP error log as an attachment on Google Drive so that we can help further?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

how and where do I find this PHP error log?
THe only thing I got is the browser notice of this fatal error.

    Hello,

Are you getting the error when updating to the latest version?

It is likely some new tables are not getting created in the Database or some old plugin has left an incorrect entry.

    1. Please follow these steps to fix the issue:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/fatal-error-after-1-0-49-update/

    2. Please follow only the first 2 steps and clear your caches. The following steps mentioned in the article are for advanced users.

    Here’s a video screencast:

Please clear all the cache, including the server after following the above process.

    That should resolve the issue.

If the error is not resolved, please include a screenshot of the error in the sensitive section. You can upload the image to https://imgbb.com then share the URL with us.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Thank you for your answer.
The problem occured after 1.0.50.1 update, not 1.0.49.
But the plugin solved the problem.
    Thanks a lot!
