Plugin Profiler Results

    Hi guys,

    I hope you are well. I am running the F12 plugin profiler and it is showing RankMath as having the second longest aggregated exec time (the first being WP core).

    I have already turned off all options in the RankMath dashboard that I am not using, so am left with:

    Instant Indexing
    Link Counter
    Local SEO & Knowledge Graph
    Schema (Structured Data)
    Sitemap

    Is there anything else I can do to improve the performance of the plugin?

    Do you have any log or extra information in the plugin profiler that could you share with us? So we can help you to try to find which other options could you disable/optimize.

    Hi Alberto, the plugin doesn’t have any log files, only a display of times like this:

    Hello,

    In that case, it is a little tough to determine the cause but here are some suggestions:

    • If you have a lot of posts and you are editing some post, link counter could be doing a lot of work looking for all the interlinks
    • I don’t think Local SEO affects the performance
    • Neither the Schema module
    • If you recently updated posts/pages or saved permalinks, your sitemaps could be regenerating, increasing server load for a while
