    Ladies and Gentlemen
I’ve been looking for a solution to this problem for weeks. I run a job portal, and just a few months ago the automatic transfer of new jobs to Google API via the Instant Indexing plugin worked. It currently no longer works. I contacted my hosting provider about the problem. He checked it and said there is a problem with GuzzleHttp. Which version of the plugin do I have to install so that the automatic transfer of jobs works again? Thanks to the WP Rollback plugin, I tried different versions but none of them worked.
    My website is: jobvermarktung.de

    I ask for some help.

    Best Regards

    Stefan

  • Hello,

I apologize for the inconvenience you are facing with the Instant Indexing plugin for Google not automatically sending new URLs. It seems like you have encountered an issue with the GuzzleHttp library affecting the functionality of the plugin.

As a first step, I recommend checking if you have the latest version of the Instant Indexing plugin installed. You can find the latest version on the WordPress plugin repository or the official Rank Math website.

If updating to the latest version does not resolve the issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Deactivate and reactivate the Instant Indexing plugin.
    2. Ensure that your website’s API key is correctly configured within the plugin settings.
    3. Check for any conflicting plugins that might be causing the issue.

If the problem persists even after trying these steps, I suggest reaching out to our dedicated support team by submitting a ticket at Rank Math Support. Our team is available 24/7 and will assist you in resolving this matter promptly.

    Best Regards

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

This issue is usually caused by some plugin on your website not using the latest version of the Guzzle HTTP library and using a very old version that doesn’t include a fix to handle custom headers.

However, we do see that your Instant Indexing plugin is outdated so we went ahead and updated it.

We tested a job post and we can see it working without any issues:

And this includes the automatic submission as well:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello Jeremy,
first of all thank you for your help.
Manually adding jobs and submitting them to Google API always worked.
I’m concerned about the automatic URL transmission, which hasn’t worked for weeks, even though I’ve already tried the latest version of “Instant Indexing”.
Let’s see, when the new jobs are implemented into the site via cron job, whether they are also transmitted automatically (like it worked weeks ago).
If you find the solution to the problem, please write to me how you solved the problem because I have several domains that use instant indexing, plugins. The automatic URL transmission to Google API no longer works on these domains

    Hi.
as I suspected. New jobs were imported into the website https://hamburg.jobvermarktung.de/ via cron job but they were not automatically submitted to Google API via Instant Indexing plugin like it used to work. Could you fix this and write to me how you achieved it? I would then change this on the remaining pages so that the automatic submission works.

    Best regards

    Dariusz

    My another sites:

    berlin.jobvermarktung.de
    muenchen.jobvermarktung.de
    koeln.jobvermarktung.de
    dortmund.jobvermarktung.de
    wuerzburg.jobvermarktung.de

    Hello,

Sorry for the confusion but it seems that you are expecting automatic submissions for posts that are generated by Cron jobs.

Unfortunately, this may not be possible at the moment because for our automatic Instant Indexing to work (which it currently is), a post must be published, updated or deleted via the WordPress dashboard, not from an operations of a Cron job.

With that said, if this is something we can improve or add in the future, we will surely do and let you know about it.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi Jeremy,
    thanks for the reply.
But that worked weeks ago – the automatic submission to Google API of jobs generated by the cron jobs.
    Could you check it again?

    Best regards

    Hello,

This feature only submits the URLs automatically when the save_post hook is triggered for the post type that is enabled for auto-submission on the settings.

Besides that, the plugin also checks if the page is indexable and it’s not a post revision or an auto-save. If all those conditions are met during the saving post hook, the post is submitted.

If the import of data is not triggering that hook, the auto-submission will not work, and if it worked before it’s because that hook was being triggered.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello Miquel,
thanks for your answer. What do I have to do so that the save_post hook is triggered for the post type that is enabled for auto-submission on the settings?
What settings do I have to make on the https://hamburg.jobvermarktung.de page so that it works again?

    Best regards

    Hello,

The save_post function is triggered when you publish or update a post. If you wish to incorporate that function when a post is generated via CRON, that is something we can’t help you with as that is now outside the scope of our support.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hi,
thanks to your help I found the cause.
Now everything works. We can close the ticket. It was due to settings in the WP All Import plugin and not to instant indexing.

    Thank you again.

    Best regards
