    Good morning, I recently started using Rankmath seo plugin on my blog NaijaTechClan. My experience with this seo plugin has been awesome. However i noticed that a good feature which i was enjoying when I was using yoast is missing in Rankmath.

    The feature am talking about is the ability to edit slugs/permalinks when writing a new post, yoast has the feature on the edit snippet, I would love to see you make this possible in this great seo plugin of yours, so that it will be easier to customize permalinks when a new post is being created before it is published. Am sure many other users would love to see this feature implemented on Rankmath.

    Why not make it possible to do same as in the video when creating a new post?

    Hello Ravi,

    Because when creating a new post, the slug of the page is not yet generated. The slug is generated when you hit the save button one (either draft or publish).
    Then, the slug will get generated and you can change it via Rank Math:

    https://i.rankmath.com/sxN6gC

    For now, you have to reload the page/post before you can change the slug but we are working on a fix where you don’t need to reload the page.
