Personal sites with our Copyright

#327463
  • Dear Team,

we are an Online Marketing and Webdesign Agency and we run about 30 websites “as our own”, where our clients pay monthly or annually for content and technical support, while other websites we developed are owned by our clients. The websites of the first mentioned type are marked by copyright notices on all pages in the footer, visible for everyone. Usually, we also add such a notice in the imprint section below the contact details of the company, which uses this website.

For the proper use of RankMath (btw, great development, congratulations) we would like to pay for a RankMath PRO Version, while we recommend all our other clients that have their own website (no copyright from us), to buy an extra licence.

Would that be ok according to your idea of PRO vs BUSINESS licences? If you want, we could also add your logo and link with our recommendation on our SEO page of our website.

Thank you very much for your answer,
    best regards,

    Wolfgang Grabs-Schrempf

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

If the websites you mentioned first are completely owned by your agency and that includes the domain as well, then they can be considered personal websites and the PRO subscription should be enough for those.

For all others you mentioned, those would require either the Business subscription or your clients would need to buy a PRO subscription for their websites.

Hope this helps clarify your doubts.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
