Permalinks change and redirection

    Hi there,
    All my blog post of my website have the following syntax: website.com/category/blogpostname
    I have discovered that it is not the best solution to rank.
    So, I want to change the permalinks to website.com/blogpostname.
    I have activated the autopost redirect feature in Rank Math.
    Now, I am going to change the permalinks in wordpress settings.
    I have also understood that after the latter, I should set a regex redirection too.
    However, I am struggling with the right regex rules to write.
    As well, are in the right order the steps I am going to follow?

    The option for auto post redirect only redirects posts whose slug has been changed, not a change in permalink settings. To redirect your URLs ,please try adding these to Rank math redirection:

    
Source: /(\s+)/(\d+)/
Destination: $1

    As I write the destination, automatically it changes in http://$1 , is this normal?

    Just to be sure, have you change the redirection type to Regex? Since that is the kind of redirection my colleague shared.
