If you change your permalink structure, the redirections will not be automatic. You will need to create a regex to create a redirect.

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
To create new Regex redirection, head over to Rank math > Redirections > Add new.
1. Select Regex in the source drop down.
2.In the source field add below code (for posts in a month e.g. May) ^May/(.*)
3.Enter the destination URL
4. Activate the redirection
5. Click Add redirectionn to save.
