  • Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please share the affected URL so we can check and assist you further?

    Looking forward to helping you.

all paginated pages are affected and they are alot of them since its a blog

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing the URL. I checked your paginated page and the noindex has been applied to your robots meta tag as you can see in my screenshot here:

    robots

I checked the said page on the SERP and they are indeed still being indexed by Google. The page is indexed last January 31st so I suggest you give Google some time to recrawl your website and the paginated page should be removed from the SERP.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

ooooh okay. Although i submitted a new site map 4 days ago

Although it says here Google crawled last on the 3rd of this month

    Hello,

Can you please let us know when did you configure the MISC pages to deindex the paginated page?

If you have configured it after the 3rd of this month, then you need to wait for Google to recrawl your entire site.

    Looking forward to helping you.

How long do i have to wait, its still the same

    Hello,

Could you please confirm if the crawled date’s already updated?

Unfortunately, there’s no definite time for Google to recrawl your site. According to Googe guidelines, crawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

Here’s a link for more information:

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

yes it has updated but still same when i search

    Hello,

It can take anywhere from a couple of days to weeks or even months for Google to recrawl your site and deindex the URLs. Since you have already set the paginated pages to noindex, all you can do is wait for Google to deindex them.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch in case you need any other assistance.

    Thanks.
