Hello, I apologize for the inconvenience you’re facing with your sitemap. It seems that there are some pages with 301 and 302 redirects that are not being updated in the sitemap.
To resolve this issue, you can follow these steps:
-
Ensure that the sitemap is correctly configured by validating it using the Validate XML Sitemap tool. Once done, click VALIDATE SITEMAP to confirm if it’s properly configured.
-
Check if the sitemap is accessible using the httpstatus.io tool. Enter your sitemap URL and check the status to identify any issues preventing your sitemap from being accessed by search engines.
-
If you have manually created the sitemap, ensure it is installed in the root folder of your WordPress installation. There should only be one forward slash between your domain name and the sitemap path.
-
Make sure that all your posts are set to index. To set your posts to index, head over to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and enable the Index checkbox in the Robots Meta settings.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
Please note that redirecting URLs will not delete those from your sitemap.
To remove those, you may need to delete/unpublished them on your WordPress or set them to noindex as they are already redirected.
Alternatively, if you have their post IDs, you can exclude them on your WordPress dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > General > Exclude Posts:
https://rankmath.com/kb/configure-sitemaps/#exclude-posts
Hope that helps.
