Pages Missing in Sitemap

Recently had all pages except my homepage disappear from my sitemap.

I have saved permalinks and sitemap settings.

I mistakenly disallowed some pages in my robots.txt file instead of marking them no index, but have since updated the robots.txt file.

Search Console is not indexing the other pages as a result.

    Thank you

    Hi Michael

page-sitemap.xml is not showing any of the pages I published. There should be 11 pages in total.

    Hi Michael

My page-sitemap.xml is only showing the homepage and /sample-page/ for some reason. I should have 11 pages in total that were published and the xml is not updating to show the pages.

    Same problem here

This solution fixed my issue – https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/problem-with-sitemap-3/#post-62931 – it may help yours. I’d specified the canonical, which only needs done if different from the page url.

    Hello,

Were you able to fix the issue? If not, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

Sitemap issue was related to caching in Firefox. Pages are still not being indexed by Google.

    Hello,

There are a few things you must check for in order to see why the posts aren’t getting indexed.

    1. Make sure the post is not selected as ‘noindex’ in WP > Posts > Your Post > Advanced Tab in Rank Math.
    Screenshot:

    Individual Post Advanced Tab

    2. Ensure that the noindex is not selected for Global or Posts meta:

    Noindex Settings

    3. Check the sitemap settings and check if the posts are setup to be included in the sitemaps:

    Post Settings

Please note that it is completely upto Google if they want to index or not index your website. So, if you haven’t willingly or accidentally made your posts noindex and Google still isn’t indexing your page – it means that either Google doesn’t want to index or hasn’t crawled your page yet because it hasn’t allocated that much crawl budget to your website.

Please check this website for more details.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
