Pages marked ‘noindex’ in Google Search Console

    Hello,

Since quite some time, many pages I have are marked as noindex in Google Search Console.
I visited all options in Rank Math to make sure it was not the case, and I found nothing particular. In the general settings tab, index is ticked, and in the specific tabs regarding posts, articles and so on, the same.
That’s very bad for me, because I upkloaded more than 14K of articles written with Helpie plugin to be visible on the Internet, and Google excluded almost all of them. In fact, I can see only a few pages, but I can’t explain why. Could you please have a look?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you also share in the Sensitive Data section some of the URLs you know they are affected so we can check them and try to determine the cause of your issue?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I checked he links you have provided and only the activity seems to be set as noindex. I assume it is a buddypress activity page, please ensure you have enabled Buddypress module in Rank math dashboard( I couldn’t access that with the provided access).

If it’s already enabled, then the noindex tag is likely not added through Rank math. You can deactivate Rank math temporarily and check if the page robots meta is still set to noindex. I tried using the troubleshooting mode but it doesn’t seem to be performing as expected in your site.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

Yes I use BuddyPress. I already configured the plugin before, so it was not the problem. However, by forcing the robots to index and follow, it solved the problem. I am aware that this solution is not ideal, as I had to add a filter in the functions.php file of my theme, but it does the job so I am fine with it.

    Thank you for your support!
