Page Title and Snippets

  • How can i control what is shown in the Page Titles and Snippets globally? Since installing RankMath it seems to have over-ridden what was there and is now showing titles and snippets about the template that I used to build the site and not the site settings?

I see i can go into each individual page and override the title and snippet but i don’t want to do this for every page. I cannot see what is controlling this global setting

    Please help!!!

    Site is:
Every page defaults to a page title of ‘Spark WordPress Theme – Drag & Drop Site Builder by Visualmodo’… i can’t see where its getting this information from??

  • Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us.

Rank Math’s global meta settings are located under your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts (or the name of the post type) > Single Post Title and Single Post Description.

Please have a look at this screenshot for a quick reference:

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

    Thank you for the reply

I have tried this, but it’s not working for all the pages, something seems to be over-riding these settings.

For example this page doesn’t use the page title or snippet: it uses the one from the template creator, not the one set in RankMath or in site settings?

    Thanks for your reply.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Please let us know how that goes.

    Thank you.
