    Rank Math business

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Please add this filter to your website:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

Once done, clear your website cache and check the sitemap.

Let us know how it goes.

We are here to assist you.

Hello, I just implemented that recommendation and the same problem occurs.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

I created a test site that has the same problem – this site is not live so there are no issues messing anything up.

    https://wp.bowriverstudio.com/sitemap_index.xml

I suspect there is a conflict with “faustWP”

    [moved to sensitive data section]

In this example – none of the pages/posts are being indexed.

    In this file: https://wp.bowriverstudio.com/page-sitemap.xml
There should be an entry for the page blocks – and as this is a headless setup I would like to know what filter I could use to change the URL.

    https://wp.bowriverstudio.com/blocks -> https://headless-wordpress-authentication-faustjs.vercel.app/blocks

    Best Regards,

Do you need any more information?

    Hello,

Our plugin won’t include pages and posts with custom canonical tags in the sitemap which is what is happening on this website.

The page that you mentioned has a custom canonical and as such shouldn’t be indexed or in the sitemap, so our plugin doesn’t include it there.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

Could you please elaborate on your response? I’m not 100% clear about what I changed that is causing the issue.

    Hello,

This is caused by the fact that the website with the WordPress installation is not on the same domain as the canonical URLs for the pages.

For example, the page called “Blocks” has a canonical of https://headless-wordpress-authentication-faustjs.vercel.app/blocks/

To be included in our sitemap the default canonical would need to fallback to this: https://wp.bowriverstudio.com//blocks/

The situation is caused by the Headless CMS setup you have for your website.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Thank you

    Hello,

    Glad that helped.

Please feel free to reach out to us again in case you need any other assistance.

    We are here to help.

    Thank you.
