To add to the context, I’ve tried refreshing the sitemap cache by saving changes to the permalink and setting a 201 limit in the general tab. Further, rank math is excluded from my caching plugin wprocket.

There has been a plugin/theme conflict that is causing the page sitemap to fail. We tried following this guide to troubleshoot it but when entering troubleshooting mode, I can’t enable back some of the plugins. Can you please try it on your end to determine what plugin/theme that is causing the issue?
If that doesn’t help you, please create a staging site for us so we can check which plugin is causing the issue without worrying about breaking your live website.

I don’t know how but since the last time you opened my backend, the sitemap is now fixed! Maybe, it was just re-enabling plugins that helped.
So yeah! the sitemap has worked well magically.
