Page showing as follow noindex

    My page is showing up on on meta data as follow, noindex. Though the settings are set to follow, index. I looked through your tickets and followed the instructions, re-setting permalinks, finally re-set my robots.txt to the bare min in my root folder, made sure sitemap is not cached, and re-submitted sitemap to GSC. Page still doesn’t show.

    I am getting it as a page telling me there are no results. Just to be sure, is it a category without posts assigned?

    I thought of that myself. Because when I click on the menu, it should take me to the page. It took me to a 404. And in the top bar it said “edit category’ instead of edit page. Using this clue I changed the menu using a custom link, found the page (finally–just this took a long time) and got things fixed.
