    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Since you already have added the canonical tag, I went ahead and created the redirection for you.

The URL https://YOURDOMAIN.COM/saude/ should now redirect to https://YOURDOMAIN.COM/aplicacoes/saude/

Please confirm if that is correct.

    Looking forward to helping you.

Solved, but the question is.. shouldn’t these redirects be done by the plugin automatically?

    Thxs

    Hello,

Yes, Whenever you change the slug of a post, page, category or CPT, an automatic redirection should be done by Rank Math only if you enable Auto Post Redirect feature at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > redirections > Auto Post Redirect.

Please try visiting the URL below to learn more on automatic post redirections after changing URL:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-redirect-posts-after-changing-urls/

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

    Ok I understand perfectly.

But my question is because if the url xxx.com/saude has already changed in WordPress to xxx.com/aplicacoes/saude, why when you enter xxx.com/saude in the browser does it not return a 404 error? this url does not currently exist (assuming that I have not activated any type of redirection in rank math plugin) and I don’t want anyone to enter from it.

    Hello,

Rank Math doesn’t handle the content which is currently rendered on the page so this may be due to other plugins or your currently active theme.

You may conduct troubleshooting for this one.

First, try temporarily disabling the redirection rule I just made and clear the cache of your website. Second, please try switching to another theme and check if you are seeing the 404 page in xxx.com/saude.

Lastly, if the same content is still being shown on xxx.com/saude, you may check if another plugin is causing it. You may determine that by following this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Ok! Thxs for the support and explanation!
