thanks Reinelle, is this something that can be looked at over the weekend by any chance? The site is a job board so the content is very dynamic during the week so to minimize risk I’d rather changes were made during quieter times over the weekend.
If not possible, I’ll try to replicate the issue on a staging site and share those login details.

Hi, in addition the issue with the external links not opening in a new tab/window, another issue is that RankMath is creating some sort fo conflict with multiple other plugins:
-WP job manager field editor: I cannot edit fields anymore (this should open in a pop-up/overlay but just does not)
-FS poster (not ativated on the stagin site for other reasons – please do not reactivate) : cannot edit posting schedules, similarly in an overlay/pop-up window.
I feel like all these issues might be linked but not sure how. Also, it’s definitely RankMath as when disabling it, those other plugins work fine again.

WP job manager issue: Can you please share the steps to replicate this issue? You may also share a video screencast of the problem so we can try replicating it on our end.
FS poster issue: We also need to replicate this on our end. When the issue is happening, can you please check the error log so we can see what’s causing the issue?

Hi Jeremy, thanks for looking into this.
The link you clicked in your screencast is a special field so they always open in a new tab/window. It’s external links within the body of the posts that are not working. I’ve shared an example in the sensitive data for you to see.
I’ll try to make a screencast of the problems occuring with the other plugins but could you let me know where I can fidn the error log you are referring to?

It seems the issue with the external links is due to the current theme that you are using. I tried enabling the default theme (Twenty-twenty-one) and the external link has successfully opened to a new tab.
Can you please contact your theme provider for this?

We didn’t receive anything about incompatibility issues with Workscout. Also, as we didn’t test the compatibility of Workscout with Rank Math yet, so we can’t confirm about incompatibility issue of the Workscout theme with Rank Math.
