For best SEO practices you can not redirect external links to your homepage and indeed this is not a feature that we offer in our plugin.
Ideally, external links are one of the hardest metrics to manipulate which is why it is one of the best ways search engines use to determine the popularity of a website.
Instead, we have the option to add the no-follow attribute to such links. The no-follow attribute instructs search engine bots that a hyperlink should not influence the link target’s ranking in the search engine’s index.
That means if the website owner is linking back to you with no-follow attributes, it does not pass on link juice. Please see more here:

The only way we offer redirects to the homepage is only internal links and attachments as well.
Therefore, there is no way to redirect the external link that is not based on the same server as your source URL. Otherwise, it would be possible for people to redirect other people’s websites.
