It looks like you have hotlink protection enabled for your images.
Please contact your web host and get that disabled so that Facebook and other social networks can pull your images correctly.

Hey Todd, I have considered your advice and I turned off the hotlink protection for my website. Now also Facebook and Twitter are not able to pull the OG image.
PS: mix.com is able to pull the featured images for most of the articles for which facebook and twitter cannot.
