    Hi,

I noticed that does not matter what I do og:image tag for particular webpage is missing.

I have added it through WP featured image option – nothing. I have added it through Rank Math – nothing.

The only way in which it works is by adding global og:image which i would like to avoid. I just want to have og:image tag for particular webpages.

So what can be the reason?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The URL you have mentioned appears to be missing the ‘og:image’ tag. Could you please verify if you added the Facebook thumbnail from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Homepage already?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Yes, it is added.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

Could you please confirm whether you’ve used an image of the recommended dimensions i.e., 1200 x 630 pixels? If not, then please use the image with the recommended dimension and see if that fixes the issue.

If the issue persists, then Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

Please let us know how that goes.

    Thank you.

I have switched off everything and just run RankMath in troubleshooting mode.

Still tag og:image is not generated.

    Hello,

Thank you for the update, and apologies for the delay.

Could you please also check the image file type you are using? The image file type should be one of the following based on OpenGraph standards:

    image/jpeg
    image/gif
    image/png

If the issue still persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    Hello,

    Thanks for getting back.

I added a featured image to your homepage and it was set as og:image without any issues. Please check the screencast attached in the sensitive data section.

Please make sure that the image you are using follows the recommendations mentioned by my colleagues.

Please check and let us know if the issue persists on your end.

Hey I have just set featured image same like in the video provided and there is no og:image tag. Just take a loon on it.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the update.

I’ve just checked your homepage, and the og:image tag is already showing fine. You can also check and validate it using Facebook Debugger Tool.

Please also refer to the screenshot attached in the sensitive data section. Are you still referring to your homepage here that is still not showing the og:image? If not, please also provide the affected URL to check on our end.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you.
