OG:image for Facebook shares not updating

  • Hi,

    We updated the OG:image for Facebook sharing yesterday and even after debugging, re-scraping, and the batch invalidator to clear, the old photo is still showing. We even deleted the old photo from media, and cleared cache everywhere. Please guide what else we can do! Thank you.

    I checked your site and the old photo is still set as the opengraph image. ​​​​​We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    It seems the default open graph image is not updating for your page in the front-end. To fix the issue for now, I added the new image to the page social sharing tab. Please check and let us know if this fixes the issue from your end.

    Thank you! It is now fixed. We had updated the image under Global Meta, I recall in previous RankMath versions, there was a social sharing tab. Where is it now?

    Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. We give you an option to choose between the two during the setup wizard and you must have chosen to use the Easy Mode.

    You can switch to the Advanced Mode from the top-right corner at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard

    Actually we had chosen Advanced Mode and I ran the wizard again before I posted here. That is fine though. The issue is fixed but it looks like making the change in the settings was not enough.
