1). I have just tested the breadcrumbs feature on the OceanWP theme and it works as expected for me. We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

2). Yes deactivating the plugin will also disable this functionality but you can make use of the “Export to .htaccess” button to export a copy of the redirection rules and add them to your htaccess file to ensure that the redirections continue to work.

Thanks for the follow up.
No this will not be deleted, this is a manual method of managing the redirects and thus you will need to edit it from the .htaccess file.
