    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Could you kindly navigate to Rank Math > General settings > Edit robots.txt and check if see this notice under your robots.txt if this appears then you would need to remove it so that Rank Math could generate this for you.

    Please see the screenshot below:

    Hello,

Thank you for keeping in touch.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    I have this problem also.
I have 2 domains with RankMath installed and none of them can generate robots.txt file.
I have no robots.txt file in root folder, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

At one time I had a manual robots.txt file, but then I deleted it and let RankMath manage the robots.txt file dynamically.
Maybe this has something to do with it?

    Hello,

@A Free Advice I’ve checked the robots.txt for your website connected to your account, and I’m getting a 404 not found error. Please check your Nginx config file and ensure there are no directives blocking robots.txt on your site.

You can also check this Ticket and let us know if the issue persists.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
