Non-Existent 404 reported

  • Hi I have observed Rankmath 404 monitor report 26 hits to my main domain as 404
I checked with my host Kinsta about this & they did a thorough check – there were no instances of any 404 reported for the URL

Can you check why this was reported in Rankmath? Obviously, there is a bug in the tool.

  • Hello,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

If you notice other 404s on that stats page, you will notice they are all relative.

So, when you see a 404 on your main domain name, that actually means someone or a bot is also trying to access your website at

You can simply ignore this 404 and go about your day 🙂

There is nothing to be worried about.
