Noindex post showing in recent post

    Hi,

    Recently I put a noindex tag on a blog post URL, but that Post is still showing in the recent post widget in the sidebar. How do I stop noindex posts showing in the recent post widget?

    Also I want to know how to noindex category in a sidebar widget.

    I’ve checked the post’s source code, but it is still set to index.

    Could you please confirm if you have already set the post to noindex upon editing it? Here’s a step you can follow:

    If you have already done that but it is still set to index, please follow the steps in this link for checking a plugin/theme conflict on your site:
