NoFollow to all External Links

    Hi.

    Is there a way to add NoFollow to all external links such that the nofollow attribute cannot be removed from the frontend by users other than the admin?
    In other words, when subscribers or guests add guest post through the WordPress editor, they should not able to add the dofollow attribute or remove the nofollow attribute at all.
    Only the admin should be able add dofollow to links and remove nofollow from links.

    Is all of this possible with Rank Math?

    You can set to automatically add rel="nofollow" attribute for your external links in Rank Math > General Settings > Links and enable Nofollow External Links
    NoFollow External Links

    Thank you for your response.

    I am fully aware of this feature and have been using it for a long time now.

    However, activating this feature does not stop WordPress Subscribers (ordinary website users) from submitting dofollow links when they submit posts as guest posts using the WordPress editor.

    Isn’t that the case?

    Hello,

    We do not add any rel tags if a rel tag is used on an individual link. We do that so users can still selectively nofollow or dofollow a link.

    We do not have any option to change that. If you still want to add nofollow tag, you will need to add it manually while moderating guest posts.
