Nofollow not working

    Hello,

    Usually, I assign nofollow attribute to guest authors through their author bio. It’s like this,

    Example . Unfortunately, it automatically removes rel=”nofollow” on save. I contacted hosting support and they told me that mostly, RankMath creates this issue and asked to contact your team for support. How can I fix this?

    If you are manually adding a rel=nofollow tag, Rank Math shouldn’t automatically remove it.

    Can you please disable Rank Math temporarily and check if it still happens?

    If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    I added one of the user profile links on my blog. I tried to assign a nofollow attribute to his website (About the user > Biographical Info). But unfortunately, on save, it automatically deletes nofollow attribute (rel=”nofollow”)

    Thanks for the follow up.

    This issue does not seem to be related to Rank Math, the nofollow attribute does not save when Rank Math is disabled as well.
    Please check for conflicts with your theme and your installed plugins by performing these steps:
