No space between Chinese character and western character on google serp seotitle

    Hi, I noticed that even if I set the seo title as “中 Z” with the blank space between the two characters, on google SERP it shows as “中Z” without space between them. Is it normal?

    Yes, it is completely normal for Google to show a different title than what you have set, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether.

    Here is an example showing Google changes title depending on the keyword used:

    Thank you, I know that Google sometimes changes meta depending on what users search for, but in this case it’s different, in this case Google totally bypass every whitespace between Chinese character and western character in all the search results (also for other websites), it doesn’t happen if in the meta the western letter comes before the Chinese one for example “Z 中”.

    I just ended up using a Japanese punctuation which has a little bit of blank space at the beginning and at the end: ‘・’. Now I won’t need to use whitespace anymore.
