    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

If you have a static homepage, go to the homepage > SEO settings > Edit Snippet and add a Description.
    https://rankmath.com/kb/homepage-meta-title-and-description/#edit-your-homepage-directly

If you have set the latest page as the homepage, go to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Homepage > Homepage Meta Description:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/homepage-meta-title-and-description/#edit-your-titles-meta-settings

Once done, re-run the SEO Analysis.

    I hope this helps.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello
I did what you wrote but the problem is still ther.

    Hello,

I can check that our plugin’s meta tags are not being added to your homepage. Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

It looks like you have only added the hosting logins. I tried those credentials on your WP Admin but it is not working.

Can you please share the WordPress login details in the sensitive data section?

We look forward to helping you.

There are matters we are able to try and retain troubleshooting: 1. Temporarily deactivate all different plugins except AIOSEO and notice if the meta description appears.

This is the only way I log in. On the left side there is a toolbar, there is a wordpress section and you can log into the admin panel automatically.

    Hello,

I tried enabling the troubleshooting mode on your website by following this guide but I can’t seem to find the cause of the issue.

However, after I disabled the troubleshooting mode, the meta description was shown on your website’s page source as you can see in my screenshot below:

    meta description

I tried loading the website again using an incognito browser and the meta description is not there again.

This might be a caching issue with your website. Can you please try checking this one with your hosting provider and ask if you have other server-level caching services that might still be caching your website?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello
I asked my hosting provider, and they told me on my web there is no server-level caching services active.

    Hello,

In this case, is it possible for you to create a staging website for us to deeply debug the issue without worrying about breaking your live site? If so, please create one, replicate the issue there and share the admin login here so we can further determine what’s causing this issue.

Looking forward to helping you on this one. Thank you.

Isn’t it better to uninstall and reinstall rankmath?
    Unfortunately, I can’t create a staging website.
I also turned off all plugins except rankmath and turned them back on. For a moment the problem went away, but after refreshing the website it reappeared.

    Hello,

This seems to be heavy caching on your website. You may try re-installing the plugin but if the issue persists after doing so, you may need to try enabling/disabling other plugins/themes live on your website to further troubleshoot the issue.

Looking forward to helping you on this one.

    Hello
I did everything you said, but the problem is still there.

    Hello,

The meta tags of our plugin are not being added to your site when viewing it as a logged-out user. I have forwarded this to the devs and will get back to you soon with an update.

We really appreciate your patience in the meantime.
