No Index Tag on Paginated Pages But Still Indexing

Hey Guys I’ve followed the steps here: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-noindex-paginated-pages/

My paginated pages show a no-index tag on them (I can see it in the source code) but they are still indexing.

I have 2 sites with this same problem. Both with good rank math settings but still indexing.

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked the URLs you’ve shared and I can see your first website’s paginated pages are indexing on SERPs but Google last crawled those pages on 12 Feb 2023. Please check the screenshots in the sensitive data section for reference.

Can you please confirm if you’ve set your paginated pages noindex after that particular date? If so, then Google might hasn’t seen the current version of those pages yet and that’s why they are still appearing on SERPs. In this case, you will have to wait for Google to crawl these pages again and they will be automatically removed from there.
