The No-Index ability disappeared on single pages/posts.

Related support does not correlate with the UI so it is not useful.

    Please advise…

  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. We give you an option to choose between the two during the setup wizard and you must have chosen to use the Easy Mode.

You can switch to the Advanced Mode from the top-right corner at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard

Here is a screenshot for reference:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

No, I activated “Advanced Mode” and also have all related options turned on.

ISSUE: While inside of the Word Press page editor there used to be an option to “NOT Index” a page. Where did it go?

It’s mandatory that we are able to “not index a page” in the WordPress page editor for administrative purposes. How is it done now? The help documentation related to this issue does not match the field instructions provided.

    Please advise…

    Hello,

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the troubleshooting and edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

We really look forward to helping you.

With the latest update, the issue went away. Thanks. Please close the ticket. BTW when working on a 5 subdomain multisite with a combined usage of over 100 active plug-ins’ “your recommended plugin troubleshooting guide is not practical”. Thanks though.

I have found that when dealing with such issues with respectable authors, generally the author eventually fixes the problem. Similar to how it was resolved here.

    Best of luck,

    Hello,

    We are here to help.

    Thank you.
