No Field to Add Keywords.

    Hello there, I have just installed RankMath on my website after I uninstalled Yeost SEO. But I found that there are no keywords, metadata snippet and other features available to me. I always only provided a place to add the focus keyword to my previous posts I have already ranked with Yeost SEO.

    Inside my post editor, I located the RankMath icon scoring my post 33% as soon as I clicked on the icon to enable me to optimize the post I got this message “Editor has experienced an unexpected error” [Attempt Recovery] [Copy Post Text] [Copy Error]

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    It looks like you have the Gutenberg plugin installed which is currently not playing nicely with Rank Math. We are currently working on a fix and you can expect this soon.

    At the moment I can recommend that you disable this plugin and use the native block editor that ships with WordPress.

    I have the problem, on two sites I tested it on, as well, and additionally that I cannot enter ANY focus keywords – the focus of my keyboard switches away all the time, even with the internal Gutenberg version. I can only enter a keyword via rightclick->paste. Is this a know issue?
    Edit: Sorry, just realised this doesn’t happen with Firefox, only Chrome. It was due to an extension called ‘Type-ahead-find’ that stole the focus. Never had that before, maybe that’s something specific to Rank Math?

    Thanks so much for your help. I have followed your instructions and deactivated the Gutemberg Plugin. Now, everything is working fine. Thanks.
