NGINX – Error type 502 and 504 !

    Hi,

    I have this VPS setup related to the WebServer and i use this: Nginx + Varnish + Apache PHP-FPM.

    Also use W3TC (W3 Total Cache) perfectly configured for use with NGINX on WordPress.

    Since i installed RankMath i have frequent errors of the type 502 and 504 with NGINX but if i deactivate RankMath the errors no longer occur.

    Can you tell me what these errors are due to and if there is any special configuration to do on NGINX to be able to use Rank Math ?

    This is quite unexpected, please enable debugging mode on your site by editing the WP_Debug option and setting this to true on your wp-config.php file. You can then send us a copy of the errors that are logged on your site so that we can help further.

    Hi, the problem seems to have been solved.

    Thanks for the follow up.

    I am glad that the issue is now resolved.
    The only issue that might come up might have to do with rewrite rules on your Nginx server when creating the sitemap. Please refer to point 6 on this page https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-sitemap-issues/
