Newbie question: no idea how to sort 404 errors

    Hello,

    I read your tutorial regarding 404 errors (https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-404-errors/) but I am completely lost when looking at my site’s. I assume most of them can be deleted, but need some guidance as to what I should do with the one I have so far.

    I believe I should delete all those coming from the likes of “Mozlila” and “Moblie”, but there are a bunch of others I have no idea what to do with.

    Can you please explain on my particular set of errors which is which?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Usually you only need to worry about the 404 errors on URLs you should have or on URLs you had previously some posts.

    In the URLs you have because it means they are not available, so they should be fixed.

    In the URLs you had because it means you didn’t do a redirection to another place in your site and Google could lower your ranking due to that.

    All the other 404 errors could be safely ignored or even redirected to the homepage.

    Of course, this is a very general explanation and you could have very particular cases where you should do other things, but in your case, with this, I think everything will be fine.
