Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
Google will only crawl the new sitemap that you have added on the search console. You can also go further and modify the URL that has been entered on the robots.txt file to tell the Google bots to look for the sitemap on the new URL.

Thanks for the question.
This process is not necessary if you do not have static robots.txt file on your theme. If your robots.txt is still located on the root of your website, then you can login to the site via FTP and edit this file to include the new URL.
If the robots.txt file does not exist on the root folder then you do not need to worry since Rank Math will managed a virtual robots.txt file which you can view by heading over to Rank Math > General Settings > Edit Robots.txt file tab.
