New Pages Created Not Appearing In Google SERP Despite Being Indexed

    Hello,

I commenced using Rank Math about 1 week ago but have found any new page created is no longer getting indexed in Google SERP.

Prior to using Rank Math (we were using Yoast), when we publish a new page, we’d use the URL Inspection Tool in Google Search Console and request indexing, and literally always, the site would be indexed and in Google cache within an hour.

However, now, after using Rank Math, we cannot get any new published page to appear at all, even 5-7 days later. They are nowhere to be found.

In the beginning, Google Search Console URL Inspection Tool would not even find our new pages, but after deleting and re-submitting our sitemaps, those pages are now being found at least (in Google Search Console) and showing as submitted and indexed. But nearly a week later, I can’t even find the page on Google using the search site:https://website.com/new-page-we-created/.

What are we doing wrong? Why is it that Google is not showing our new pages in SERP when previously before using Rank Math, they would be visible almost instantly. There’s something causing this in Rank Math as we’ve never experienced this kind of delay before. This issue was immediately noticeable the moment we started using Rank Math.

We have checked robots.txt and all settings, but there doesn’t seem to be anything amiss.

Please help. Hope to hear from you soon.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I checked and found out that your website has 2 sitemap only one for pages and the other for post.
Google has not indexed your website yet
This is because your website page is new and doesn’t have any inbound links. First, create an account on Google webmaster tools. When you register and point Google to your sitemap. xml URL you can request them to re-crawl your URLs.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

Thanks for the reply however I don’t think you read my comments properly.

I already have a Webmasters (Google Search Console) account and had already requested indexing for those pages over a week ago. In GSC, it says pages have been submitted and indexed (refer to my screenshot last email showing green ticks in GSC), but they are still not appearing anywhere in Google (Note: I’m not talking about ranking, but instead indexed). They are still nowhere to be found on Google when you search for the specific page using site: following by the URL.

Why am I only having this problem with Rank Math and have never had this problem with Yoast over several years? Why are the pages not appearing anywhere on Google despite GSC saying they have been indexed?

Something must be wrong. Can you please check deeper?

    Hello,

Since on your website they are set as index and also they are in your sitemap; there is nothing more we can do with the Rank Math plugin, and more since Google already had them on Google Search Console.

Google seems to have them and it will display them eventually. When? Only Google knows but since other posts are displayed, they should display them soon.

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

Just to add to what my colleague mentioned:
I am not quite sure why it is taking longer for your posts to be added to the cache. Google recently released an algorithm update which might have a part to play in this but I can see that some of the affected pages have already been added as shown below:

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Many thanks for looking into it further.

Yes, certainly very strange Google is now taking far longer to actual index the pages.

I will monitor the issue and will let you know if I experience any further problems.

    Thank you.
