My Website crashed due of HTTP Header restrictions.

  • So i managed, to restore a bit, or use no headers at all. The problem now is, i also had to recover elementor, my pages are built with it. So after that, few weeks after that, i somehow checked some settings and saw, that a lot of meta data was gone or wrong. So i entered Rankmaths Settings and was greeted to setup rankmath for this website… So.. Is there a way to recover all the settings ive made?

Link to my website, just open the console, and there you can see the missing Entries throwing errors, but I’ve made those entries and I’ve seen over the web that browser, today restrict such stuff but im not sure if it’s that case…

EDIT: I’ve removed the entries temporary, to keep the site functional. I will add the fautive .htaccess in this thread, im not sure how to color text ect. So i would mark the section which is throwing the error, here is the entry I’ve made, the console throws errors that this Option was not set:

    Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin %{CORS}e env=CORS

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Rank Math settings should be saved in your database even when uninstalling the plugin (except if when uninstalling you added the function we provide to do a clean uninstallation to your functions.php). So, in case you didn’t use that function and you didn’t clean the database, your Rank Math settings should be there.

About the .htaccess option you shared with us, you can read more about it here: https://ma.ttias.be/set-access-control-allow-origin-cors-headers-apache-vhost-htaccess/

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Okay im currently getting to the solution for the headers, i get less and less errors and tried different ways, by adding all possible variations of my domain to the origin access entry, it seems to work now. didn’t notice an error yet.

For Rankmath, I never had an issue with my database for my solution. Also i never delete entries, even if i uninstall plugins forever, i keep them until im absolutely sure i wont need the plugin anymore.

Can you tell me which table has the data of rankmath? I will make a quick look.

    Hi David,

    There are quite a few.

We store data in the post and postmeta table as well.

    Here are the rest:

    	wp_rank_math_404_logs
    	wp_rank_math_internal_links
    	wp_rank_math_internal_meta
    	wp_rank_math_redirections
    	wp_rank_math_redirections_cache
    	wp_rank_math_sc_analytics

    Hope that helps.
