My theme has an option to remove a date but it’s still showing

    Hi there,

    My theme has an option to remove the date on a post from showing on Google search but the date that the post was published is still showing on Google. How do we remove this from Rankmath? Please add this feature, as I never had this problem with Yoast before as my theme has an option to remove the date.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Rank Math shouldn’t be affecting your search results with the date. But since you said you removed it from your theme, please check if you have some date added in the structured data and also when was the last time Google crawled your site, since maybe you are seeing that date because Google didn’t crawl your site yet with the new changes.

    If you want, you can share in the Sensitive Data section your site so we can take a look into it.
