I have a recipe website and 1 week ago the Schema Type changed from recipe to off. I have tested some of my urls and it says the Schema type is Article.

How do i fix it ?

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply.

I can see in one of the screenshots that you’ve shared that you’ve set the Recipe schema as the default schema. We recommend setting the Article schema as the default schema.

If any schema other than the Article schema is set as the default schema, then it is neither displayed on the all Posts page nor added in the frontend as it does not have any data.

The Recipe schema needs to be configured prior to adding it and there are many fields that can be different based upon the recipe like description, Preparation Time, Recipe type, etc.

I suggest you keep the Article schema as the default schema and since you have to configure the Recipe schema before adding it, you can add the Recipe schema from the Post Editor window.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
