However, you may check your wp-config.php via (from cPanel/FTP) for the following line:
define( 'DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', true );
If the line exists, change true to false, and save the file.
If the above line doesn’t exists, then you may try adding the below one to see if that works for you.
define ('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', false);

Thank you for providing additional information.
I see you’ve already added the line define (‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT’, false) to wp-config.php and even checked the .htaccess file is being saved by file manager.
Even after setting everything correctly, we can’t edit the htaccess file from Rank Math > General Settings > Edit .htaccess. It’s due to ownership of the file. As the permission is set correctly, the only hinderance is the ownership. Please ask your hosting provider to fix the ownership and permission for the file.
Once, that fixed, it should start working properly.
Alternatively, you can edit the .htaccess using FTP or your hosting file manager. You can get help from your host to do this.

hope you’re doing well, I saw your reply, but I gave 644 permission already that mean I have htaccess file read and write access current user, could you please guide me htaccess file path, this file path inside Rankmath plugin folder or root folder, please let us know
