My Link Has Changed

  • Hello sir,
    I had hosted my site: Dollar Passive Income
    on AWS. And, when I changed my server location, i see all of my links(ie. internal, image e.t.c.) has changed to ip address like 136.125.1235/passive-income-ideas/(e.g). So please solve this issue as fast as possible.

    My search traffic is decreasing day by day.

    Although, i manually changed some of my internal post links, i can still see some image link and other inside link had same ip link.

    Hope you will solve my issue soon. Thank you.

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    That is a weird issue and I am not really sure if it has to be to Rank Math but have you tried to modify the .htaccess file to redirect that IP to your domain name?

    Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Sir can you provide me a code to do so?

    My server ip is http://13.233.207.114/ and i want to redirect it to https://dollarpassiveincome.com/ so please provide me a code to add in htaccess. I tried all the code online but they are not working. Thank you

    Hello,

    The issue you are facing doesn’t seem to be resulting from Rank math, it is rather a WordPress issue or your domain settings and resolution.

    You can check your wp-config.php for these constant definitions:

    define(WP_HOME','http://13.233.207.114/');
    define('WP_SITEURL','http://13.233.207.114/');

    if present… you may either edit to replace the URLs, or remove the two definitions completely so you can change the URLs in your WordPress dashboard.

    When you’re done, use a plugin like Velvet Blues Update URLS to update your database with the correct domain, so that existing attachments and other links will show this domain (instead of the UP).

    For full documentation on this, please see: https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-the-site-url/

    Hope that helps. Thank you.
