Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.
A decrease in rankings can be due to many reasons, and one of the most common reasons is that Google multiple times in a month, releases algorithmic updates, and these updates hit many websites causing a temporary decrease in rankings.
The last “Uncomfirmed” update was on September 4, 2021:
However, could you please check the coverage report under your Google Search Console account to see if there are any errors shown, that might be causing the issue?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hello Prabhat Rai,
I checked Search Console Coverage there is No Error.
Can you please help me how I find out what is wrong going with my all keywords?
because I Lost thousands of users and revenue overnight please help me. I checked a ton of things but I didn’t see any problem with my website. please help to check what’s wrong happened with my website.
As there are no errors shown in the GSC, this would have been a temporary decrease in the rankings and it might get recovered in a few days.
However, you may share your website’s URL so that we can check a few things like the sitemaps, robots.txt, etc.
Looking forward to helping you.
This is my URL https://hindigovtscheme.com
BTW I already checked sitemap and robots.txt file and also checked console manual actions and security issues there is showing No error.
Thank you for your patience.
I’ve checked your sitemap, and it is showing that it’s still being generated by Yoast. Here’s a screenshot for your reference:
If this is still caused by caching, please follow these initial troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure you’re using the latest version of your plugins/theme including Rank Math.
2. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
3. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server:
Also, please make sure that there’s no
sitemap_index.xmlstatic file existing in your website’s root directory. You can get in touch with your web host to help you access your website files.
I hope that helps.
Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
I deactivate rank math plugin yesterday because I didn’t get respond from your side.
And I already followed this upper steps which you provided. In yoast seo also sitemap is not working same problem is happenin with sitemap. I don’t know what’s going wrong with my site. I Checked everything in last two days but I DIDN’T fOUND any issue in my website. I am very depressed because of I lost my all top search keywords and thousands of visitors overnight. Now I didn’t get a single visitor on my site.
We deeply apologize for the issue you are facing.
Can you please confirm if you have already excluded your sitemap from being cached as instructed by my colleague in the previous reply?
You may also check with your hosting provider if there are any server-level caching software that might be still caching your sitemap.
After doing all that, remove all your sitemap/s from Google Search Console and submit only the primary sitemap (sitemap_index.xml).
Let me know how it goes. We are looking forward to helping you.
Yes, I already excluded sitemap from being cache. And I didn’t using any cache on server level.
When I removing old sitemap and submitting new sitemap No list is showing in search console tab see this below image
Also when I do URL inspection every url showing this url is indexed but not submitted in sitemap. See this below image
I don’t know why because my urls are perviously week showing all url submitted in sitemap. But on friday overnight everything is vanished.
Please help I losed my all keywords and traffic.
I checked the robots.txt on your website and I found that you’ve not included the link to the sitemap there. Please add this statement at the end of the robots.txt file:
Further, please wait until Google crawls your website again and see if the sitemaps are detected.
Regarding the Indexed, Not Submitted in Sitemap, it is not an issue, it only means that Google has already indexed the posts/pages but not through the sitemap.
It is likely that Google is crawling your website and indexing the posts, pages through the internal links on your website and not through the sitemap, and as a result, the crawl budget for your website is exhausted and Google is not able to discover the URLs through your sitemap.
As long as the posts/pages are getting indexed, there’s nothing to be worried about for this particular issue.
Hope this helps.
Ok, I will add this sitemap in robots.txt file. But what about my keyword and traffic. How my all keywords and traffic lost in overnight.
As explained by my colleague, it could be just an algorithm update that affected your website’s ranking.
Since there are no major issues within your GSC, then there should be no reason why Google is not ranking you anymore. You may observe your website for a couple of days or weeks and see if your rankings are back to normal.
Looking forward to helping you with this one. Thank you.
I don’t think so this is happened because of google algorithm update. My website lost all keyword in one night on 10 September. And Google update their core algorithm in July. So How It’s Possible.
ok leave it.

Please note that our plugin does indeed help with all your on-page SEO optimization needs, but that is just one small piece of the puzzle, and doing SEO on a website is not something you do once and can just leave it.
You need to be constantly monitoring changes in Search Engine algorithms and trying to adapt to those the best way possible.
Having said that, a good foundation for your website can be achieved if you devise a winning strategy, and for that here are some resources that can help with that.
