Also, the redirections in your list do seem to be working normally without redirecting to the homepage. Would you mind providing us some clarification on how to replicate this?

Since this is happening even with Rank Math disabled, this issue is not related to the Rank Math plugin. In fact, the redirects are being triggered by WordPress and not by our plugin.
We recommend that you check with your hosting provider or a developer to help understand better where those redirections are coming from.
If you have any other questions related to Rank Math don’t hesitate to get in touch.
