Missing HTTPS in canonical URL

#647362
  • Hello,

    I have researched many times on the internet and I think only Rank Math private support has a solution to the problem. But I can’t get there. I’m getting a non-https canonical url error on my site.
    The error I get is as follows:

    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”ar” href=”//mysite.com.tr/ar/” />
    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”en” href=”//mysite.com.tr/en/” />
    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”fr” href=”//mysite.com.tr/fr/” />
    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”it” href=”//mysite.com.tr/it/” />
    <link rel=”alternate” hreflang=”ru” href=”//mysite.com.tr/ru/” />

    Thank you in advance for your support

  • Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The tags you’ve shared are the hreflang tags which are not added by the Rank Math plugin. Usually, the translation plugin you’re using on your website adds those hreflang tags.

    The canonical tag by Rank Math is added this way:

    <link rel="canonical" href="https://yourdomain.com/" />

    So, if you’re facing this issue only with the hreflang tags then we suggest you to contact with the translation plugin you’re using on your website.

    Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thank you very much for the information. We will contact the translation plugin creators.

    Kind regards
