    Hi,
I have an issue with “Missing field “image” in my product schema eventhough I do have featured image and gallery. It’s an RV dealership and not a woocommerce store.
I’m using jetengine custom post types.
    How do I fix this?

    Best regards,
    Jannie

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the "Missing field ‘image’" in your product schema. Since you mentioned that you are using JetEngine custom post types and not WooCommerce, the steps to resolve this may differ from the standard WooCommerce setup.

Here are a few suggestions to help you troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Featured Image: Ensure that the featured image is correctly set for your custom post type. Sometimes, the image may not be recognized if it is not properly assigned.

    2. Schema Settings: Verify that the schema settings for your custom post type are configured correctly. You may need to manually set the schema type to ensure that it includes the image field.

    3. Custom Schema Markup: If Rank Math does not automatically generate the required schema for your custom post types, you might need to add custom schema markup. You can do this by using the Rank Math Schema Builder to create a custom schema that includes the image field.

    4. Check for Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins or themes can conflict with Rank Math. Try disabling other plugins temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, we recommend replying to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will take over and provide further assistance specific to your setup.

Thank you for raising this concern!

When creating the schema I choose “Product”. I dont know if that means the same thing as woocommerce product?
If thats the case, what schema are you supposed to use for your products then? I mean, not everyone uses woocommerce.

    Hello?

    Hello,

We checked both pages and we couldn’t find the Product Schema on any of them.

Regarding the image property missing from the Product Schema, that only happens for the merchant listings and is only available for WooCommerce products via the WooCommerce Product Schema in our plugin.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
